I currently live outside of Springfield, MO with my wife and two dogs. I am the IT Administrator for a candle manufacturing company here in Southwest MO. I also freelance as a software/web application developer and occasionally network consulting. I work most with open source software. I am also very fascinated with 3D applications, satellite and GPS technology and digital mapping. I have a fondness for research and development projects, making something work when your not sure it will or can is fun and challenging.

When I am not working one of my passions is being outdoors. I love fly fishing, canoing, climbing, hiking or pretty much anything else I can do outdoors. I am currently working on my own project - www.nomadexplorers.com which is an online community for outdoor enthusiasts. You can share maps, blogs and video links with others on the website.
